Skittles, along with Dumbleboar the pig, were used as bait for a dog fighting ring. After being confiscated, they both found their way to Tilted Tavern. It was obvious that Skittles was extremely malnourished and sustained trauma based on the evident scars on her neck. She also had an untreated case of mastitis. While we will never know the extent of her abuse and the fear she faced daily, we are in awe of her resilience and loving nature.  Skittles now spends her time being spoiled by our volunteers, grazing in her enclosure, and hanging out with our Brahma chickens, Jack the turkey, and our waterfowl gang.
