Poo and Play

About the event
Tilted Tavern Animal Sanctuary is a forever home to over 80 rescued farm animals and other species. Most of our rescues were abused, neglected, or abandoned. We have rescued cows, pigs, waterfowl, chickens, horses, goats, sheep, and a turkey named Jack. Many of these rescues are quite social and crave human attention. And we always need help cleaning up their enclosures, our stalls, and well...picking up poo. Do you have what it takes to get down and dirty and playful? Come meet our rescues and see if volunteering is a fit for you. Anyone younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We are looking to fill morning and afternoon volunteer shifts during the week and weekends.
Tilted Tavern is currently not open to the public, but we hope to be in the future. We will e-mail you the address and directions after registering. We are also hosting a Volunteer Wildlife Transporter Workshop through our other nonprofit, Wildlife Resources and Education Network, which will take place at 2 pm eastern time on March 15th (same day and location). This is free as well. Please let us know if you want to attend.
