Dr. Brooke Jones - President
Dr. Brooke Jones loves to work with all animals, but her new practice will mainly focus on small animals, exotics, and triaging injured wildlife. Tilted Tavern is where she gets to spread her veterinary reach into helping animals in need that don’t have anyone to advocate for them. As a veterinarian you are constantly being approached about unwanted animals in need of rescue from injury or neglect, however, there is only so much one family can do. Tilted Tavern Animal Sanctuary is a way to do something bigger! Trouble-shooting the new sick or injured rescues at the sanctuary as well as maintaining their health takes up most of her time outside of her work at Paws, but helping animals has always been her dream. After graduating high school from St. Andrews Sewanee School, where she fell in love with Robert, her path directed her to an undergraduate degree in microbiology from East Tennessee State University and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Auburn University. She enjoys time spent with her family, hiking, traveling, sports, and is a fantastic artist/ designer.
Zach Tidmore - Vice President

Zach works as an environmental consultant and geologist located in central North Carolina. With a B.S. in Geology and a B.A. in Anthropology from East Tennessee State University, he loves being outdoors and learning about new cultures. He has had a passion for animals and the environment ever since he was a child, and volunteers with numerous organizations to help in these causes. Zach looks forward to doing his part to help the animals in need at Tilted Tavern. His hobbies include hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening, and expanding his mind into new things.
Dr. Robert Jones - Treasurer
Dr. Robert Jones is an author, researcher, developer, animal rescuer, green business innovator, and cancer survivor. He has developed or co-developed many projects that make a real difference, including the likes of Wildlife Resources and Education Network which has helped in the rescue of more than 4,000 injured or orphaned animals since 2015, educated nearly as many humans on positive ways to interact with our wildlife, and raised funds for the treatment of injured wildlife. His business initiatives have saved over a million gallons of gasoline from being used in the last ten years and have grown a real park through the power of a gaming app. Robert is a published author in fiction and holds a PhD in Classics, a MA in Military History, a MBA, and a BBA in Corporate Finance. With a second chance at life, Robert has dedicated himself to making positive changes in the world. Tilted Tavern is the next step in realizing this dream. He loves having the opportunity to work with Brooke by his side in realizing a venture that has the potential to educate and save countless lives.
Lara Dudley - Secretary
Lara is a long-time animal lover and short time farm dweller. She spent most of her years in the childhood profession with a few years of retail management thrown into the mix. She is an expert in business organization and packaging, and has consulted in the area on many occasions. Currently, she is starting a farm in Readyville, TN and diving into Creek House Farm, where she has turned a love for crafting into a full-fledged business. She loves spending time at the family creek with her daughter, husband, and their rescue pup.
