We offer a guided tour around our facility where you will meet some of our rescues and educational ambassadors and hear their stories of resiliency. You will learn about our history, daily operations, current projects, and volunteer opportunities. While we do not charge a fee, we do accept donations. These tours typically takes anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes.
Availability for tours is dependent on the weather, our schedule, operations, and the current status or needs of our rescues. During the tour, we do not allow feeding of our rescues as they are on specific diets and feeding schedules. We also do not allow petting or direct interaction with our rescues (exceptions are made for therapy sessions with specific animals).
As of April 2020, we do not have restrooms or wheelchair accessibility. With future funding, our goal is to offer both public restrooms and wheelchair accessibility in addition to an indoor facility for a gift shop, classroom, museum, and more.
