Volunteer Orientation Workshop

Tilted Tavern currently has over 80 farm animal and waterfowl rescues. It takes a team of volunteers to manage the day to day operations.  We have a daily morning and evening (late afternoon) shift. 

Our volunteers help with:

• prepping and feeding the daily ration
• restocking food containers
• cleaning water and food dishes
• providing fresh water
• cleaning stalls
• cleaning enclosures 
• socializing with rescues
• other various tasks as needed

Some of the requirements for volunteering:

• 18 or older
• individuals between the ages of 13 and 17 may volunteer if accompanied with someone 18 or older
• Can commit to a shift once a week (or bimonthly)
• Can work two to three hours per shift
• Can lift up to 50 pounds*
• Can work in extreme temperatures
• Be flexible with the schedule as times change depending on the season

Join us at 10 am to see firsthand what our volunteers do and meet our rescues. Please keep in mind that we do not have public restrooms or an indoor facility. We will provide a physical address and instructions for arriving close to the date. We look forward to seeing you there!
